Magic Tree House Series
By: Mary Pope Osborne
First book published in 1992
Publisher: Random House
This is a series of two kids Jack and Annie who explore different events or periods of time in history. They go on these magical adventures from their tree house. There are over 50 books in the series. I always loved these books and felt like I was going on an adventure with them. The writing is excellent and readers can connect to the characters and follow them through each of their magical journeys.
Popular with readers grades 2-6
